Ben, his wife Mobley and their two children will now be able to get around easily as a family.

Ben is 36 years old and was diagnosed with ALS in 2021. He is now at a point where he needs a wheelchair van. It was perfect timing! 

The wheelchair van was generously donated and the raffle raised $40,000 for the HealingALS registry (update coming soon!).

Here is Derrick, Danielle and their son, the previous owners of the wheelchair van.

Derrick was diagnosed with ALS in March 2020 and sadly passed away in August at the age of 40 from an adverse reaction to a prescribed pharmaceutical drug.

The 2019 wheelchair van was donated to his family and they were so appreciative that they wanted to pass it forward from one ALS family to another.

Dr. Smita Jain, MD will be sharing information on feeding tubes. This is also an opportunity to share ideas, and tips.
